The Municipality of Klaipėda City, a port town with a rich medieval history, reached out to us to craft an urgent order. They requested 150 embroidered units of their city emblem to be used in employee work attire.
We had two concerns: the necessary timeframe and the lower accuracy of small details in embroidery. Instead of the slower embroidery process, we suggested our woven process to make production faster and to convey the letters in the emblem with precision.
In the end, the woven results were far superior to the old embroidered emblem. After this first batch’s success, the Municipality plans to replace the old badges of all workers with woven ones.
Quantity produced: the first batch of 150 woven units.
Production time: 1 week.
